New England sending help to Oklahoma

STAMFORD, CT (WSHM) -

New England aid organizations are sending help to Oklahoma to help with the tornado relief efforts. 

AmeriCares is based in Stamford, CT, and officials tell CBS 3 Springfield it's sending an Emergency Response team with medical supplies to Oklahoma City.

The Pioneer Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross is waiting to hear form its national representatives as to whether they will send help.
