CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Cape Girardeau police are investigating a robbery at First State Community Bank around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21.

The bank is located on North Kingshighway near the Osage Centre.

Cape Girardeau police say the suspect walked into the bank, handed the teller a note, and demanded money. No weapon was shown.

According to Officer Darin Hickey, the suspect ran north from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
