Tyler ISD bus driver arrested on drug charges

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

A Tyler ISD bus driver was arrested Friday afternoon on drug charges.

Ronald Gain, 44, of Tyler, was arrested by the Tyler Police Department on one charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Tyler ISD tells KLTV 7 that Gain had been employed by the district since August of 2012. He was not arrested on school grounds, or while driving a bus today.

The district tells us that personnel actions have occurred, but would not elaborate on that.

    Ameren Illinois is warning customers of an electronic utility scam that is targeting customers across the state. Locally, they have been calling businesses in Energy, Marion, West Frankfort and Murphysboro.
