PARK HILLS, MO (KFVS) - Family and friends of Jacque Waller said their final goodbyes.

Waller's funeral was Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Esther Baptist church in Park Hills.

Saturday, it was all about Jacque. Memories were shared and there were tears-but also laughter.

Along with her family and friends, Jacque's co-workers and law enforcement who worked her case were also in attendance.

Volunteers who spent countless hours searching for her body also came to pay their respects.

"Thank you for strength you've given this family", prayed Pastor Cody Allen. "They have exemplified the body of the Christian spirit. I want to say to the Rawson family, you have handled this whole thing with dignity and class."

It was Stan and Ruby Rawson's 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

"Jacque embraced life and loved every minute of it," said Blye Galemore-Jacque Waller's friend who delivered the eulogy. "For two years, thousands have witnessed the strength of your wedding vows."

Many in the congregation, including her friend giving the eulogy, wore a feather boa. It's something Jacque would do at work to have a little fun.

"Jacque was fun, playful and kind hearted and loveable," said her friend Blye Galemore. "She was a mentor and an inspiration to many others. She was classy, mischievous and this is why I called her friend."

Graveside services were held in Leadington, Missouri.

Waller's estranged husband Clay Waller will be spending the next 20 years behind bars.

Thursday, as part of a plea agreement, Clay Waller pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

Jacque's remains were found in southern Illinois in Alexander County.

In lieu of flowers, Jacque's family asks that donations be made to the Waller children's fund at any U.S. Bank, or make a contribution to your local women's shelter in her name.
