17 year old found dead in CVS parking lot

Steven Bradley Foster, a 17-year-old from Alabaster, AL, was found dead in the backseat of an SUV in the parking lot of CVS at Whitesville Rd. and Double Churches Rd. in Columbus.

The body was found at around 3 a.m. Friday morning, June 14.

Authorities say Foster ran away from home the previous weekend, and his parents had filed a missing persons report.

According to the coroner, Foster appears to have been dead for two or three days.

The 17-year-old's body has been taken to the crime lab in Atlanta for an autopsy. The preliminary autopsy reports that the body shows no signs of physical harm. A toxicology is being run to see if drugs played a role in his death.

That report can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months.
