A Cape Girardeau music teacher is looking 12-years-worth of work and belongings.

Karen Bowles worked at Blanchard Elementary in Cape Girardeau for 12 years before deciding to relocate. Bowles cleaned up her stuff and packed away two boxes full of binders with videos of programs, books, puppets, posters, etc.

She said she pulled up at a house on Dixie Street Wednesday night, June 19 and placed the boxes off in the grass. She planed on moving them shortly after.

According to Bowles she made a quick lunch run and when she returned, they were gone.

Bowles said it would mean the world to her to get her stuff back.

"They could have taken my car and it wouldn't mean as much to me as it would the stuff in these boxes," she said.

She asked if anyone has them, to return them to Hutson's Furniture in Cape Girardeau with no questions asked. A cash reward is being offered.
