Wilson Co. EMA names fire engine in honor of boy killed in accident

MOUNT JULIET, TN (WSMV) -

The community came together Tuesday in Wilson County to honor a boy who died last week in a tragic accident.

Ethan Page, 5, died Friday after he was struck by a pickup truck as it backed up from a long driveway.

Investigators said it appeared to be a terrible accident, and no charges were filed against the driver.

The child's death took an especially hard toll on the emergency responders, and they wanted a way express their thoughts for Ethan.

The Wilson County Emergency Management Agency has dedicated its Engine 41 in Ethan's memory, and his casket was placed on a fire truck Tuesday as it rolled through Mt. Juliet one last time.
