Thursday morning online trends 6/27

(KFVS) -

Here's a check of some of the top online and tech trends for Thursday morning.

Wendy Davis has become a household name following her 13-hour abortion bill filibuster earlier this week.

And as we all know, in the Internet world, you're not official until you have a meme.

Senator Davis was incorporated into a meme using a poster for the movie Kill Bill, but instead the meme says "Kill the Bill."

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active can reportedly be submerged in water, it's dust resistant and can handle spills.

The phone also has gorilla glass and can take pictures underwater.

But according to USA Today, the phone may not be all it's cracked up to be.

A special report on the phone found that after being submerged in water, the phone screen went black and showed some signs of water damage.

It seems like the phone could potentially be a handy device to have, but may need more development.

We all love our pets, but sometimes they can be pests.

According to a survey published on The Wall Street Journal's website, pets damage approximately 8 million electronic devices every year.

A charity called Crisis Relief Singapore has launched a picture campaign that attacks the usefulness of Facebook "likes."

The pictures, which you can see here, show children in very distressing situations.

The purpose is to show that if a person wants to help these children, it cannot be done by just "liking" a Facebook page.

Well Caleb C. is his rap name and golf is his game.

A 5-year-old from Pennsylvania has gained fame on the web for a viral video of a rap about his favorite sport.
