The Plaza Tire Capahas won their 10th and 11th straight games on Saturday, sweeping a doubleheader over the St. Louis Spikes.
The Capahas won game one 4-3 behind a strong pitching performance by Steven Dooley.
The Caps broke the game open in the 4th inning. Kody Campbell started the inning with a single to center and was quickly moved to second on Mark Hagedorn's sacrifice bunt. Two batters later with Campbell on third, Jake Pewitt laid down another bunt, scoring Campbell and reaching base himself.
Adam Blum added another run with a chopper to third, scoring John Logan Zink.
The Capahas (16-1) have now won 41 consecutive games at home. They look to continue that streak Sunday with a doubleheader against the I-70 Thunder starting at 2 p.m.
