Fort Campbell soldier dies in Afghanistan

A Fort Campbell soldier from New York died in Afghanistan. 

The Army released a statement saying 25-year-old Sgt. Justin Richard Rogers died Friday at Bagram Airfield in a non-combat related incident. 

The Army said it it investigating Rogers' death. 

According to the Army, Rogers joined in 2008 and was a horizontal construction engineer assigned to the headquarters battalion, 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell.

The army post is located on the Kentucky-Tennessee line.
