YARNELL, AZ (CBS5) -

It's a tragic night for families in the small Arizona community of Yarnell.

Nineteen firefighters have been killed in the Yarnell Hill Fire in the Town of Yarnell, said Wade Ward, the Incident Command Post said.

Eighteen of those killed were from the Prescott Granite Mountain Hotshots, fire officials said. It's not known where the other victim was based.

The fast-moving wildfire has burned 250 structures there and grown to 2,000 acres, command center officials said Sunday night.

Leave your thoughts and support for the fallen firefighters' families in the comment section below.

Viewer Cliff Potts sent this message in remembrance of the brave firefighters who died Sunday.

"When a man becomes a fireman, his act of bravery has already been accomplished.

What he does after that is all in the line of work.

A firefighter is perhaps the last noble warrior on earth!

Not in it for the fame or money,

But because it's what needs to be done.

Few selfless acts are left in this world,

But that which a firefighter does is both selfless and daring!!!

May we all be blessed to survive the fate that fell our brothers,

May their soles be lifted and held higher than any others.

May they sit alongside the presence of our maker, himself.

And may he bless, as he has blessed no others,

The little ones and loved ones of those he has called home."
