Kentucky officials warn drivers of high water

Kentucky officials warn drivers of high water.

Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said US 641 in Calloway County is now reopened to drivers.

He said they had reports of water over the road between Murray and Hazel between mile marker 3 and 6.

Calloway dispatch reported several cars were flooded out in the area.

Todd said water levels are likely to fluctuate and drivers should take extra caution.

Also, Todd said they have reports of water over the road along KY 121 in Calloway County south of Murray. He said there are signs up between mile marker 3 and 4 in the New Concord Bottoms/Beechy Creek area between Winchester Rd. and Buchanan Road.

Todd wants people to remember, Turn Around, Don't Drown.
