Yarnell Hill Fire: Bentley to lead benefit concert in Prescott Valley

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Country music star Dierks Bentley will lead a benefit concert called Country Cares to raise funds for the families of the Granite Mountain Hotshots who died in the Yarnell Hill Fire.

The concert, hosted by country music stations KMLE 107.9 and 92.9 KAFF, will be at 7:30 p.m. July 22 at Tim's Toyota Center at 3201 N. Main St. in Prescott Valley.

Additional performers will be announced as the names become available. More information can be found at www.KMLE1079.com and www.KAFF.com.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and will be available at Tim's Toyota Center or online at www.KMLE1079.com.

All concert proceeds will go to the 19 families of the fallen firefighters of the Prescott Fire Department's Granite Mountain Hotshots, distributed by United Phoenix Firefighters Charities.

The 37-year-old Bentley was born in Phoenix and opened a new country bar, Whiskey Row, July 4 in Scottsdale.

The father of two, and soon a third child, pointed out that 51 children were now fatherless because of the Yarnell Hill Fire tragedy.
