4 accused of breaking into home armed with stun gun

ANNA, IL (KFVS) -

Four people from southeast Missouri were put behind bars in southern Illinois after police say they broke into a Union County home armed with a stun gun.

According to the Union County States Attorney, it happened Wednesday night at a home in Anna, Illinois.

State's Attorney Tyler Edmonds says he filed charges against Anthony Sample, 36,  of Jackson; Wesley Jones, III, 28, of Cape Girardeau; Jenna Young, 27, of Oak Ridge and Lakisha Bernachi, 19, of Cape Girardeau.

All four are charged with home invasion and armed robbery, both class X felonies.

A preliminary hearing is set for August 6.

They were all taken to the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro.
