Cleveland police  arrest the man who caused a multi-vehicle accident on the city's east side Monday morning.

Police say at 8:58 a.m., a 65-year-old man was driving a stolen 2010 Ford F-150 pickup recklessly, on Kinsman Avenue.  Police say he failed to stop for the red traffic light at East 79th Street and collided with a dump truck, that was going northbound on East 79th Street with the green light.

After hitting the Chevrolet truck, police say, the suspect lost control of the vehicle and struck a Chevrolet Cavalier that was stopped for the red light at East 79th Street. The force of the collision caused a chain reaction of collisions.

During the course of the collisions a large chunk of sandstone was ejected from the bed of the stolen Ford F-150 Pick Up truck and went through the passenger windshield of a jeep, striking the front seat passenger.

The suspect tried to run from the scene and police caught him a short time later.

The stolen vehicle is a work truck stolen from Independence Excavating.

Most of the victims have been treated and released from the hospital, except passenger in jeep. She's at MetroHealth Medical Center, suffering from neck and back injuries.

The driver of the stolen truck has not been charged yet.
