LSU's Beckham Jr. named to Biletnikoff watch list

LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list.

The award recognizes the outstanding receiver in college football and is selected by the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee.

Last year Beckham Jr. caught 43 passes for 713 yards.

He has averaged 12.9 yards every time he touches the football and he's accounted for 1,784 all-purpose yards on 138 attempts in his two previous seasons.  

Beckham is one of 14 SEC receivers on the watch list.

Je'Ron Hamm of Louisiana-Monroe and Ryan Grant of Tulane also made the award watch list.

The 2013 Biletnikoff Award winner will be presented live on December 12, 2013, on The Home Depot College Football Awards Show to be broadcast from 7:00 - 9:00pm on ESPN.

    The Auburn offense didn't slow down a bit, even with Nick Marshall a spectator for half the game.
