Spotty Rain & Big Temperature Change Ahead

Posted: Updated:

More Rain in Some Places Today:  Scattered rain and storms are already developing and on the move over in Western NC and also northern Georgia.  Fortunately, this rain doesn't have much heating and humidity to work with so storms are struggling to survive so far this morning.  Still, scattered pockets of rain are impacting several areas, mostly over Western North Carolina.

Lower Temperatures Coming:  Just as Kendra and Nicole have talked about lately, cooler air riding the coattails of a north and northeasterly breeze will provide a more comfortable feel outside Wednesday through Friday.

Along with that, cloud-cover will be thick blocking out most of (if not all) the sunshine during the next few days.  Scattered rain will be likely each day, but lower temperatures will equate to less flash flooding potential this Wednesday through Friday.  That's very good news!

Since we have been stuck in a rainy pattern without much relief, we might as well look for the positive and enjoy some cooler temperatures!
