NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police say a woman was kidnapped and thrown into the trunk of a car Thursday night.

A witness called police after seeing Otis MaClin's car speeding along Edgehill Avenue with the trunk door bouncing up and down.

She told police she could hear a woman screaming "let me out."

The car suddenly came to a stop, the victim jumped out of the trunk, and ran to the witness for help.

MaClin allegedly got out of the car and started running towards the victim, but returned to his car when he saw the witness call police.

The victim told police Maclin slammed the trunk closed on her arm, injuring her.

MaClin, 25, has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and domestic assault.
