KENNETT, MO (KFVS) -

Art Cars will be returning to the Fall Into Arts Festival in downtown Kennett from September 6-8.

An Art Car is an ordinary motor vehicle that has added design and art features to make it extraordinary.

This year’s Art Car lineup includes cars, a van, and a motorcycle.

The first car to be featured is the Aerocar II, a 1957 BMW Isetta powered by a six-cylinder WWII Lycoming aircraft engine. Dave and Irene Major are the proud owners of the Aerocar II.

The ChewBaru, owned by Rex Rosenberg, is the other car that will be in attendance at the festival. This converted Subaru is covered in trinkets of the dental variety.

Bonnie Blue and her Women Rock Art Car will also give flare to Downtown Kennett with its bold graphics.

The final vehicle is a custom motorcycle in the shape of a guitar. The Guitarbike was created by Ray Nelson and is sure to be a hit at Fall Into Arts.

The Fall Into Arts Festival takes place September 6-8 in downtown Kennett. More information on the Fall Into Arts Festival and the exhibits and activities in store for this year’s event can be found online at the KAFTA website.
