Rain, Rain, Go Away... SERIOUSLY!

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Another round of rain is set to arrive late tonight and tomorrow morning.  It won't be a flooding rain event, but we could see pockets of heavy rain, and it could prove to be a real nuisance as Greenville county, as well as Buncombe and Haywood county kids head back to school!

The image attached to this post show around a third of an inch of rain will fall for some spots through Wednesday morning.

We should see a lull in rain by Wednesday afternoon, then another round on Thursday.  However, I think we'll see scattered t-storms Thursday afternoon instead of morning rain like previous days.

There still looks to be a nice drying trend on the way for the weekend, but through Thursday we have a decent chance at rain.  I'd say a few showers possible for Friday night football, then Saturday and Sunday the rain should be isolated at best.

In fact, we may get some really good sunshine by the weekend!  Be sure to wear the sunscreen, since many of us have been indoors a lot this summer!
