LSU's 2014 SEC football schedule includes changes

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The SEC announced the 2014 football schedule Wednesday morning and missing from LSU's schedule was Georgia and South Carolina. LSU will instead host Kentucky in Tiger Stadium on October 18. 

Another change for LSU is the Arkansas game has been changed to November 15 and LSU will travel to College Station to play Texas A&M on Thanksgiving Day.

As announced following the 2013 spring meetings, the conference football schedule format is currently under review by the SEC.

The 2014 schedule is based on a 12-year rotation of conference opponents, which includes six divisional contests for each team, along with games against one permanent non-divisional opponent and one rotating non-divisional opponent.

LSU will enjoy a bye week before their games against Alabama and Texas A&M.

LSU will play Wisconsin on Saturday August 30, at Reliant Stadium in Houston Texas in the 2014 season opener.
