MURRAY, KY (KFVS) -

A woman was taken into custody after troopers say she lied about her identity.

On Friday a Ky. State Trooper made a traffic stop on KY 94 for a speeding violation. During roadside investigation, it was determined the driver, Miranda Lee, of Fulton, provided false information as to her identity.

After identifying Lee, she was found to be a fugitive from Indiana, according to state police.

She was arrested on local charges and taken to the Calloway County Jail.

A passenger in the vehicle, Eva Glisson of Fulton, was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree, along with some lesser charges.
