BONNE TERRE, MO (KFVS) -

Two more men have been arrested in the death of a Cape Girardeau tattoo artist.

Brent Bouren, 42, of St. Louis now faces a charge of 2nd degree murder in connection with the death of Sam Francis.

According to court documents, Bouren was at a Bonne Terre home when Francis was hit with a baseball bat.

Witnesses told police they saw Bouren hit Francis. He allegedly threatened the witnesses if they told police about it.

A second man, Otter Plopper, 43, of French Village now faces a charge of felony abandonment of a corpse.

Court documents show Plopper admits to helping dispose of Francis' body.

A third man, 49-year-old Melvin Scherrer already faces charges including first-degree murder. Investigators say Scherrer is directly responsible for Francis' death. He is in jail without bond.
