A Cape Girardeau thrift store clerk got to help Ben Affleck pick out clothes for his new movie Thursday night.

She helped Affleck find $1000 worth of clothes for the movie. Colyer says they were they were looking for a coat, a couple pairs of pants, and t-shirts.

"Ben Affleck is very tall," Colyer said. "He was nice and he had a Batman t-shirt on. His stylist was also really nice and it's probably an experience I'll never forget."

Cape Girardeau Career and Technology student Devin Winter, 21, shot the interview with Colyer.

Friday, police had to shut off a few streets in downtown Cape Girardeau while filmmakers shot scenes for the major motion picture "Gone Girl."
