MARSTON, MO (KFVS) -

A Marston man and woman were jailed Thursday after deputies reportedly found illegal drugs in their home.

A search warrant was served on Thursday at a home in the 100 block of East Elm Street in Marston.

Deputies from the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Office along with officers from the Marston Police Department issued the search warrant at around 3:30 p.m.

According to the sheriff's office, during the search of the home, officers found a safe which had a large amount of marijuana. Also found in the safe was a coffee can with a fake bottom containing a large amount of psilocybin mushrooms.

Katherine Cummins and Jason Davis were taken to the New Madrid County Jail pending formal charges.

This was a joint narcotics investigation by the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department and the Marston Police Department.
