Motorcyclist hit by car in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Springfield and state police responded to a motorcyclist hit by a car right at the foot of the Memorial Bridge in Springfield Friday night around 11 p.m.

Police could not confirm many details or injuries at the time, but a CBS 3 crew on-scene saw an ambulance responding and several people standing out by the vehicle. 

Traffic is moving slowly in the area as police continue to investigate what happened.
