(KLTV) - The family of a missing Texas grandfather and two missing children report that they have been located.

According to WFAA, 57-year-old William Gomez of Carrollton, Texas and his two grandchildren have been found safe in Washington County, Wisconsin.  This story is still developing and we will have more details as they emerge.

On Tuesday morning, police said Gomez's most recent debit card activity was in the northwest corner of Indiana. Authorities in Indiana and Illinois had been alerted, along with the National Center for Missing Children.

Gomez's bank card was used Monday night to pay for a $21 charge at a Sears in Padukah, Kentucky. Surveillance video taken from the store shows Gomez with his two grandchildren in the store. He reportedly asked the store clerk for directions back to Dallas after purchasing underwear.

His wife, Maria, says that her husband's memory loss may be to blame for the unexplained road trip. Gomez was raised in New Jersey and his wife believes he may be driving to what he remembers as home.

William Gomez was reported missing with his two grandchildren on Sunday. The children's father says Gomez was supposed to take seven-year-old Marcus Gomez and eight-year-old Dominique Gomez to a park near his home. On Sunday evening, the trio could not be located and a critical missing alert was issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Gomez's bank card was used at an East Texas convenience store Sunday evening. His card was then used in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky Monday.
