FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Final autopsy results have been released on an 18-year-old swimmer that went missing in Rend Lake in early September.

According to Franklin County Coroner Marty Leffler, final autopsy results on 18-year-old Emilie Jo Turrentine of Carmi, revealed that her death is attributed to drowning and most likely secondary to a cardiac arrhythmia.

Leffler says that the incident is still under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff Department.
