Man arrested after chase on I-24, manhunt

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Kentucky State Police in Mayfield report that a fugitive was arrested in connection with an I-24 chase on October 3.

According to KSP in Ashland, Jonathan Crum was arrested on numerous felony charges as a result of the chase and other warrants from other Kentucky agencies.

The investigation is ongoing.

A manhunt was underway in McCracken County after a chase on Interstate 24 Thursday night.

According to Kentucky State Police, a man driving an SUV at a high rate of speed on Interstate 24 caught their attention.

Troopers tried to stop the man, but he would not slow down.

Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department used stop-sticks that flattened the front tires of the suspect's vehicle.

The SUV then went off the right side of the interstate and crashed through a fence.

Troopers say the driver, Jonathan Crum of Morehead, took off and ran into a wooded area.
