Multiple law enforcement agencies were searching for a missing 5-year-old boy.

The Butler County Sheriff's Office sent out a missing child alert Sunday.

They were looking for 5-year-old Devonte Dye last seen in the Qulin, Mo. area. Crew members say the boy has Autism.  They were not calling out his name because he was unable to respond verbally.

Devonte was described as wearing a black shirt blue jeans was last seen around 2:30 p.m.

The Sheriff's Office says they got the call at 3:10 p.m.

The Dunklin County Sheriff's Office along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were working with Butler County deputies in the search for the little boy.

One firefighter said 200-300 volunteers were also on the scene, but they are on standby while search dogs picked up scents.

Crews were searching near the St. Francis River, on the Butler County line and on Route 53 just outside of Qulin.
