Sun, fun and another round of summer?

Posted: Updated:

Fall festivities are abundant around town this weekend, although it's going to end up feeling a lot more like summertime than fall!  But first, Friday night Blitz is back tonight at 10:30 on FOX Carolina, and all the high school football teams can expect a gorgeous setup with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the middle 70s.  The same can be said for the beginning of Fall for Greenville tonight at 5pm, though temperatures will still be close to 80° at that time.  With high pressure moving in from the southwest over the next few days, we can expect plenty of sunshine Saturday and Sunday with highs in the middle 70s to low 80s.  Generally calm to light wind will keep us feeling those temperatures exactly as they are.  Monday and Tuesday, we'll begin to build in a bit of cloud cover, but it'll still be nice with highs in the 70s all around.  Wednesday into Thursday we're watching a cold front build into the region, which is likely to bring scattered showers and a possible thunderstorm or two, especially Thursday.  Enjoy the gorgeous setup before that happens, though, have a great weekend!
