SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Here's a cool image that's going viral around the world. It was captured just as a young seal balances on the nose of a great white shark.

According to Petapixel.com, the photo was captured by David "Baz" Jenkins, Irish wildlife photographer. At the time, Jenkins was on a tour boat off seal Island in South Africa, where many shark come to feed when he witnessed this breathtaking site.

Though Petapixel.com said the great white emerging from the water to catch its prey is usually what tourists expect to see while on these boats, but they received an unexpected bonus.

Jenkins told Caters News Agency that after perfectly balancing on the shark's nose, the young seal was able to leap off and swim away to safety.
