LSU - Alabama SEC showdown set for primetime on CBS

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

CBS announced Monday that LSU's SEC showdown with Alabama in Tuscaloosa will kickoff at 7:00 p.m.

LSU will enter the November 9th game with a record of 7-2 and number one ranked Alabama with a record of 8-0.

LSU beat Furman 48-16 Saturday, while Alabama dominated Tennessee 45-10.

The Tigers and Tide will enjoy a bye week and have two weeks to prepare the primetime battle.

    Jeremy Johnson passed for 243 yards and two touchdowns in the first half and Nick Marshall returned from suspension with a 19-yard scoring run to lift No. 6 Auburn to a 45-21 opening victory over Arkansas on Saturday.
    The Auburn offense didn't slow down a bit, even with Nick Marshall a spectator for half the game.
