DYERSBURG, TN (KFVS) -

Dyersburg, Tenn. police have arrested three teens in connection with a home invasion on October 28.

Around 8:51 p.m. police responded to the 1600 block of Brasfield Street. When they arrived, the occupants reported that three men wearing masks charged into the home armed with handguns. They say the suspects demanded money, but then ran when the home owner refused their demand.

Police were able to find additional witnesses that say they saw the suspects run from the home to the area of KW Street. They were able to get detailed descriptions of the suspects and police found one on Knapp Street.

The suspect, a 16-year-old, was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and aggravated burglary. He was taken to the Dyer County Sheriff's Department and later taken to Middle Tennessee Detention Columbia by sheriff's deputies.

According to police, two other suspects were found at Defoe Street and arrested without incident. Those two, another 16-year-old and his 18-year-old brother, were charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.

The juvenile was taken to the McDowell Detention Center and Charles Edward Kimble, 18, was taken to the Dyer County Law Enforcement Complex.

Police say they recovered a mask, a black Smith and Wesson M&P 40 BB gun pistol and other evidence that may have been used in the robbery.

"The quick arrests and recovery of potential evidence is to be credited to the detailed descriptions of the suspects by the victims, the witnesses that cooperated with the investigation, and good police work by the responding patrol officers and investigator," said Steve Isbell, assistant chief of police.
