DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) -

A Florida woman charged in a Dothan bank robbery is also a suspect in more than a dozen other bank robberies along with her husband.

Cara Lee Williams and her husband, Immanuel Lee Williams, are suspected of stealing a total of $54,740 from 13 banks in Florida and two in Alabama, according to federal court documents.

The Florida bank robberies reportedly happened between December and October. The Trinity Bank on W. Main Street in Dothan was robbed Monday afternoon. The last robbery happened two days later in Gulf Shores.

Authorities say there were similarities between all of the robberies, including the demand notes. Cara Lee Williams reportedly used a demand note at the Dothan bank that read:

"THIS IS A BANK ROBBERY! I HAVE A GUN SO BE QUIET & FAST & NO ONE GETS HURT! HAND ME ALL YOUR 20s, 100s, & 50s! BE FAST & NO ALARMS!!"

The suspects were also identified using phone records and video surveillance from each of the robberies.

The two are both facing federal charges of conspiracy to commit bank robbery and conspiracy to obstruct, delay or affect commerce by robbery.
