BREAKING: Chesterfield officials investigate reports of fire

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Chesterfield County Police are investigating the cause of an morning fire that happened Tuesday on the 2300 block of Goodes Bridge Road.

At approximately 11:30 PM, police responded to a fire in a garage which was undetached from a home. No one was inside the garage at the time of the fire, but the family in the home was evacuated as a precautionary measure, and are all uninjured.

The Fire Marshal is now investigating the cause of the incident.
