You can have 'coffee with a cop' in Paducah

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

The Paducah Police Department would like to invite the public to its inaugural “Coffee With a Cop."

It's Friday, November 15 from 8-10:30 a.m. at Panera Bread on 2950 James Sanders Boulevard in Paducah.

"Coffee with a Cop" provides a chance for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in Paducah’s neighborhoods in an informal setting.

“We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns or simply get to know our officers,” said Assistant Chief Stacey Grimes. “These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships.”

According to organizer Sgt. George Johnson, “there will be no agenda or speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in your neighborhood.”
