According to Officer Darin Hickey with the Cape Girardeau Police Department, both incidents happened Monday evening.

The first incident, a robbery in the 1400 block of Kingsway, happened just before 7:30.

Police got a call from a female victim saying 3 men carrying weapons came into her home and demanded property and money.

The suspects took electronics and forced her into the basement before running away.

The woman was not injured.

Those 3 suspects are on the run and there are no descriptions currently available.

This is believed to be an isolated event.

The second incident occurred around 8 p.m. in the 1000 block of Bloomfield Road.

One person was walking along the road when a car drove by.

Three men got out of the car and robbed the victim of cash and some personal property.
