AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

In front of a sellout crowd at Jordan-Hare Stadium, the No. 7 Tigers defeated the No. 25 Bulldogs 43-38.

It was a great first half for the Tigers. Auburn got on the board first with a 22-yard field goal by Cody Parkey with 8:15 left in the first quarter.

Corey Grant ran 21 yards in to the end zone for the first touchdown of the game taking Auburn to 10-0 over Georgia with 4:29 left in the first.

Auburn marched down the field again in the second quarter but came away empty when UGA blocked a field goal attempt with 3:10 left in the half.

Georgia got the ball back, but not for long after Ryan Smith picked off Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray's pass.
