SELMA, AL (WSFA) -

Police say two men have been charged with capital murder following a weekend double-homicide in Selma.

Selma Police say around 11:20 a.m. Sunday they responded to the Candlewood Apartment complex on Lincoln Drive in reference to gunshot victims.

When officers arrived at the apartment, they found two deceased victims. A male victim's body was found in the doorway to the apartment and a female victim's body was found in a bathroom. Both victims had been shot multiple times.

Investigators say they were informed on the scene that the female victim's husband, 28-year-old Beonridge Bradley III, had initially found the victims. The apartment was owned by the female victim following a mutual separation from her husband.

The names of the victims have not been released.

Authorities found Bradley, as well as 28-year-old Eddie James Irvin III, in a vehicle in the parking lot and asked them to meet with detectives at the police department.

Detectives interviewed the men at police headquarters and decided they had enough probable cause to charge both men with capital murder. Irvin was also charged with hindering prosecution.

Both suspects are being held in the Dallas County Jail with no bond.
