FORT CAMPBELL, KY (WAVE) – A Fort Campbell soldier is facing several charges, including murder, as a result of a joint investigation between Kentucky State Police and Army detectives.

According to Erin Stattel with Fort Campbell Public Affairs, Specialist Robbie Knight was arrested Friday and charged with robbery, aggravated sexual contact, maiming and housebreaking, in addition to murder.

Knight, who is currently assigned to a unit within the 716th Military Police Battalion, is accused of killing Jeremy Priddy at his home in Brownsville, located near Mammoth Cave, in October.

Stattel said Knight is being held in pre-trial confinement at the Christian County Jail until an investigating officer assigns a date and time for an Article 32 hearing.
