AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Tiger fans will tell you they bleed orange and blue. There's one Tiger who exemplifies what it means to be a true Auburn man.

Punt Bama Punt, Bo Over the Top, the Miracle at Jordan-Hare -- Buddy Davidson has been there for them all.

Auburn had six in a row over Bama, the Crimson Tide has back-to-back national championships, Buddy has his own streak -- 652 games in a row.

Buddy hasn't missed an Auburn game since 1957, and he has seen two national championships.

Buddy worked for Auburn for 50 years, including time as the sports information director.

How he got his start on the Plains, is quite a story itself.

"I hitchhiked up here one Saturday morning right after I graduated," Buddy said. "I didn't have any idea if Coach [Shug] Jordan would even be here or whatever."

Jordan told him to be there before practice started and he'd have a job as a manager.

Buddy retired from Auburn in 2007, but you'll still spot him on the sidelines.

Iron Bowl 2013 will make 653 games in a row for Buddy. He knows the streak will one day come to an end, but right now, he's just enjoying the ride.
