AUTAUGA CO., AL (WSFA) -

Troopers say a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning has claimed the life of an Autauga man.

57-year-old Tommy Lee Howard from Montgomery was killed when the 1999 Infiniti he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

Alabama State Troopers say the crash occurred around 12:05 a.m. on Alabama 14 at the 134.4 mile marker 15 miles west of Autauga.

Circumstances surrounding the accident are still under investigation but troopers say alcohol was a factor.
