AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

After a short 57-yd field goal attempt, Auburn's Chris Davis caught the ball in the end zone. The world couldn't believe what would happen next. Davis raced 100 plus yards down the field, scoring for the tigers and winning the 2013 Iron Bowl.

The gates at Jordan-Hare opened at 12:30 p.m. Saturday where fans and students, who had been camping out the days prior, rushed into the gates. The most anticipated weight bearing game of the season, only hours away.

The game began with Alabama winning the coin toss and electing to receive. After a grueling first drive, Bama ended up with a missed field goal by Cade Foster. Auburn took over at its own 34 with 8:31 left in the first quarter.

With 5:05 left in the first quarter, the Tigers put up the first score of the game when Nick Marshall went for a 45 yard touchdown. Auburn was leading the Tide 7-0 into the second quarter. Alabama had only been behind once in the last 15 games.

With 11 minutes in the second quarter Alabama made it on the board with a touchdown; the score tied 7-7. The catch was Jalston Fowler's 7th of the year for his fifth receiving touchdown.

Halftime in the first winner takes all Iron Bowl came and went with Alabama leading Auburn 21-14. After halftime Auburn came back ready to play, with quick plays and another scoring drive to tie the game. Later in the third quarter though, it looked like Bama was coming back with a vengeance.

Alabama made it to the red zone twice in the 4th quarter but came up short. With about 30 seconds left in the game, Bama geared up to try and keep the game from going into overtime. They set up for a 57-yd field goal and in the end the SEC West Division would be decided by that kick.

Auburn's Chris Davis was set up in the end zone. After the kick, Davis caught it and then returned it for a 100 yd plus run and the win for the Tigers.
