BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Brunswick County officials have arrested one of three people wanted for heroin related charges.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, Saquan Jones was arrested at approximately 1:30 Friday morning. He is currently being held in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $10,000 bond.  

Jones was wanted for PWIMSD heroin, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies conducted a search warrant on his home and found 76 bindles of heroin.

Deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office Vice-Narcotics Task Force are still searching for Joshua Aenes Rodriguez and Ross Edmund McGillicuddy.

Rodriguez is wanted for trafficking opium or heroin. McGillicuddy is wanted for conspiracy to traffic opium or heroin. Both Rodriguez and McGillicuddy were arrested on November 19 for additional heroin related charges. On that arrest date, agents found 211 bindles of heroin in a seized vehicle.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Rodriguez or McGillicuddy is asked to contact the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office at 910-253-2777.
