Posted: Updated:

The search is underway for a man who police say broke into a home in Nashville.

The break-in happened on the 4100 block of Kimbark Drive on Friday morning.

The owner says she woke up and saw a man standing her bedroom. She said she pretended to be asleep until the man left.

The woman's 12-year-old son was also at home during the time of the burglary.

No one was hurt, but police say he took electronics and other items with him.

Authorities say he got into the home through an unlocked door.
