Woman killed in accident in Greenville, KY

GREENVILLE, KY (WFIE) -

 

An early morning accident claimed the life of a Lewisburg woman.

Greenville Police say Janet Tinsley was traveling southbound on South Main Street (KY 181 South) when her 2003 Nissan Xterra left the east side of the road, traveled approximately 177 feet, and hit a tree. 

Police do not know why the vehicle left the road.  They say Ms. Tinsley was wearing a seat belt.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Mulhlenberg County Coroner's Office.
