TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Even if the weather doesn't feel like Christmas, plenty of festivities are happening to get you in the holiday spirit.

The 4th Avenue Street Fair runs this weekend.  It opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.  The 4th Avenue Merchants Association says almost a quarter of the 400 artists at the fair are new this year, and a third are local.

The Winterhaven Festival of Lights starts Saturday, December 14th.  Visitors are encouraged to bring canned food for the Food Bank of Southern Arizona.  Hay rides can cost anywhere from $12 to $16.  They start at 6 p.m. and continue through 9 p.m.

The 77th Las Posadas procession left Carrillo Magnet School Friday night and made its way through Barrio Viejo.  Like Mary and Joseph in the nativity story, several homes turn away the procession until the final one accepts them.
