4 arrested in Goochland burglaries, thefts from cars

GOOCHLAND, VA (WWBT) -

The Goochland Sheriff's Office on Saturday announced the arrests of four people in connection with a series of burglaries and thefts in the county.

21-year-old Edward Javon Boatwright of Cumberland, 20-year-old Antonio Lamar Richardson of Cumberland, 19-year-old Akeem Da'Quan Robinson of Gum Spring, and a 17-year-old were arrested for burglary.

The crimes happened in the evening of December 3 and continued into the early morning hours of December 4. Investigators said two residences were burglarized and there were multiple thefts from vehicles in two subdivisions in the eastern part of the county.

According to investigators, wallets, electronics, and prescription medications were taken from the homes, while electronics, wallets, and cash were taken from the unlocked vehicles.

Boatwright, Richardson, and Robinson are due in Goochland General District Court on Monday.
