'Teen Mom 2' star arrested in North Myrtle Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – MTV reality star Jenelle Lauren Evans was arrested Saturday evening in North Myrtle Beach and charged with breach of peace.

Evans, 21, was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention center at 5:11 p.m. Saturday, and was released on bond at about 6:14 p.m., according to records from the jail.

At about 4 p.m. Saturday, North Myrtle Beach Public Safety officers were dispatched to a call regarding a man and woman yelling profanity outside a home on Belle Drive, according to information provided by North Myrtle Beach spokesman Patrick Dowling. Police met with Evans's boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, who said she had locked him out of the house during a verbal argument.

While talking with police, Evans let their dog outside of the house to run away, according to the incident report. Griffith caught the dog, and told police he would take the dog for a walk and "let things cool off."

A short time later, police were again dispatched to the same location to complaints about loud yelling. Officers found that Griffith entered the house through an unlocked window, and Evans had locked herself in the bathroom. As officers were leaving the area, Evans walked outside and headed toward her car while yelling profanity in a high-pitched voice, the incident report states.

An officer advised Evans to stop using profanity outside, but she continued, the report states. The officer advised her she was being placed under arrest for breach of peace, and Evans told officers to "go ahead and arrest" her, and that she would "just get right back out of jail." She was then arrested and taken to the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety. A witness to the incident told police they were concerned for small children in the area having to hear yelling and profanity.

Shortly after she was released on bond, at 6:53 p.m., Evans's verified twitter account tweeted: "Dude u can say what u want. The cops r sooooo annoyed by my neighbor constantly calling the cops on our dog and [expletive deleted]"

At 6:55 p.m.: "Went as far as my mom yelling at my neighbors if they don't stop she will sue them. She did it to sell a story."

And: "I've been in my house all day long... She even said Nathan was outside yelling at my mom on the phone... Lmfao no he wasn't"

At 7:02 p.m., she responded to one of her followers: "long story... Too much to type. I would love to share. Probably not allowed tho. Sorry! :/"

This is not Evans's first run-in with the law. She was arrested in January of 2012 and charged with harassing phone calls and communicating threats, according to officials with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. Her bond was set at $1,000.

Evans, who is from Oak Island, was also charged with assault in March 2011 after a fight recorded on video. A month later, she received 12 months of probation and community service for a drug paraphernalia charge, according to the Associated Press.

Evans recently confirmed that she is pregnant with a second child.
